We’re excited to introduce the latest updates to the CN Suite, version 5.2.12. This release brings several enhancements and new functionalities across Access Control, Usage Monitor and Internal Control, all designed to improve usability and efficiency in your SAP risk management processes. Below are some of the key updates:
Access Control (AC)
- Scheduled Reports Delivered via Email: Scheduled reports will now be sent directly to users via email, so there’s no need to manually check the report page.
- Expanded Risk Upload: All risk types can now be uploaded, offering more flexibility in managing risks.
- Risk Identified by Signature ID: Risks are now assigned a unique signature ID that can be tracked across systems and clients, improving consistency and tracking.
- Critical Improvements:
– Org level analysis can now manage multiple relevant org level fields within the same object.
– Workflow emails are now sent even when multiple approvers are assigned to a risk.
– In a CUA setup, identical role names across different systems are now supported.
– Workflows can be used even when assigning roles to multiple users simultaneously via SU10.
Usage Monitor (UM)
- New “SAP Star Report”: A new report type that categorizes users according to SAP Star and highlights their highest utilized license, giving you better insight into license usage and optimization opportunities.
Internal Control (IC)
- Automated Reports Linked to AC Risks: Controls linked to an AC risk can now automatically generate a report. This report is attached to the control and can be downloaded by users such as executors, approvers, or mitigators.
In addition to these functional updates, this release includes several minor performance improvements to optimize the overall user experience and system performance. For a full breakdown of all the updates, check out the extended release below.
