Almost two thirds of every cardiac arrest happen outside of a hospital setting. The minutes after a cardiac arrest are the uttermost critical and it is estimated that the chance of survival decreases by 10 % for every minute that passes. Therefore, it is important for everyone to have access to a heart starter (defibrillator) within 3 minutes or 300 meters.

In Denmark there are too few heart starters, and especially people living outside of the bigger cities are at risk. Fortunately for our communities, there are organizations and initiatives who believes that every person deserves the right to have access to a heart starter. With the help of sponsorships from local businesses such as ours, they set up heart-starters across the country.

We at Nagarro ES and ComplianceNow are proud to be sponsoring a heart starter in our local community for the second consecutive year, next to our head office in Copenhagen. Together with several other companies we have been able to set up a heart starter right next to our local supermarket, REMA 1000. Knowing that cardiac arrests can happen to anyone at any given time, it is important for us to be able to help the people of our community minimize the risk of fatal outcomes due to cardiac arrests.
