Last weekend The ComplianceNow team had the pleasure of going on a trip to Frankfurt in order to participate in the ‘Get Connected’ event with 500 other amazing colleagues from all around the world. The event took place in the beautiful and idyllic surroundings of Lufthansa Seeheim. The purpose of the event was to give all colleagues across the organization the opportunity to meet each other physically in real life, after what felt like an eternity of remote working due to Covid-19, where most of the human contact with colleagues and customers had taken place through online meetings.
The ‘Get Connected’ event has helped bringing the team closer – not only with each other, but also with the rest of the colleagues in Nagarro ES. The event day offered social gatherings and many interesting presentations of new projects, which gave an intriguing insight into what else was going on outside of our own ComplianceNow world. This provided us with an inspiring and strong impression of how we in Nagarro ES improve customers’ daily operations through innovation and development of technology.
While online meetings have helped remove geographical borders and facilitated easier and better work relations across the company, it was still a very good to meet face to face in a social and relaxed setting. An important thing to remember is that even though we all have worked closely together for the last two years, we have still been apart physically. So ‘Get Connected’ was actually the first time many of us had a chance to meet in real life, in spite of working together daily. We can conclude that there is much value and fun to be had, meeting in real life, and it definitely adds an extra dimension that online meetings just do not have.
